Yes. The Cheered account buys Bits with the pooled creator fees and cheers them in the streamer's chat. They show up in the streamer's Bits revenue exactly like any other cheer.
Every 5 minutes, automatically. Each link runs on its own 5-minute window. When the window ends, the fees it earned are converted to whole Bits and cheered. Fractions of a Bit carry over; if a window earns less than 1 Bit, nothing is sent and the balance rolls into the next window. Windows with zero fees send nothing.
Bits cost more to buy than a streamer receives for them. We purchase Bits at Twitch's prices and cheer them, so we quote 1 Bit ≈ $0.013 of fees. That rate includes Twitch's Bits pricing — it isn't a Cheered fee on top.
Cheered works with coins launched on pump.fun on Solana. Creator fees are paid in SOL, and pump.fun lets the creator (or CTO admin) share them across up to 10 wallets — you add the Cheered fee address as one of them.
That's pump.fun's rule, not ours: a coin's fee split can be changed exactly once after launch, to stop creators from griefing recipients by flipping the split back and forth. Adding a Cheered fee address uses that one change, so choose the channel and share deliberately — we show a warning and ask you to confirm before creating the link.
Yes — the message is ours to send, not part of the on-chain split, so the link's creator can update it any time. The channel and share live in pump.fun's fee split and follow its one-change rule.
Then there are no fees and nothing is cheered. Cheered never fronts Bits; every cheer is funded by fees that already arrived.
